The presence of a number of visiting horses who are to compete at the To Aroha meeting, opening 011 Saturday, gave additional interest to the track work this morning, the gallops taking place on the course proper, with tlie trestles 55ft. out. The weather was showery. Exaggeration accounted for Lucky Alice by a length over five furlongs in 1.4 1-5. Master Lu beat Good Run over four furlongs in sl)s. Principal and Imperial Prince ran three furlongs in 39 2-5:1 Miss AlLiyn boat Arch Eagle by half a length over four furlongs in 523.
