INJURIES TO HORSEMAN. frnriM ocr own correspondent.] MATAMATA, Wednesday. A well-known show-ring rider, Mr. .Tack C'arkin. aged 20, son of Mr. Pat. Clarkin. of Eureka, suffered a broken right arm find concussion when he was thrown in the show-ring at Matamata yesterday. Mr. TJlarkin was riding T'otiti in a final round of the heavy-weight hunter class when his Jnount hit a hurdle hard. He was attended by the St. John Ambulance and sent to hospital.
