FIRE AT ROTORUA.
DAMAGE TO HOUSE. GOOD SAVE BY BRIGADE. '[BY TELEGRAPH. —OWN CORRESPONDENT.] ROTORUA, Wednesday. -A fire threatened to destroy a fivepoomed dwelling in Marguerita Street this morning at ten o'clock. The fire originated in the wash-house, which is attached to the house, and the flames soon cot a pood hold. The brigade was promptly on the scene and affected a good save. The house is occupied by Mr. and Mrs. Tj. E. Mawson and is owned by Mr. R. Kusnbs. Much damage was done by Smoke. /
