WOMEN TENNIS PLAYERS. NEW ZEALAND TOUR PLEASES. SYDNEY, Feb. 24. The members of the Australian women's tennis team which has just returned from New Zealand are enthusiastic about tho arrangements for the tour. Miss Hartigan said the programme was so well organised that they had plenty of rests between fixtures. Other members speak highly of the hospitality extended to them in New Zealand. HARBOUR BRIDGE OPENING. NO NEW ZEALAND ATHLETES. SYDNEY, Feb. 24. The sports committee of the Harbour Bridge opening celebrations has decided,owing to the expense, that the suggestion to bring six New Zealand athletes to Sydney cannot be entertained.
