YESTERDAY'S WEATHER.
CONDITIONS IN THE SOUTH. Auckland.—Fine weather lint unsettled conditions continued yesterday. A light breeze was blowing from the west and the sky was dull and overcast. Wellington.—After some blight sunshine in the morning the skies became clouded before nnon and light rain fell for some hours. These conditions later gave way to a heavy mist, which continued for the remainder of the clay. The wind was in the, north. Christchurch. —The weather yesterday was mainly dull, with a breeze fi'V east " north east in the morning, changing to south-west in the afternoon. The sky was threatening in the evening. The baiometer, after falling, was steady at. 29.75 in.,, , Dunedin. —Intermittent rain fell ana conditions generally were unsettled, liicta was a light breeze from the south-east. The barometer was rising last evening an registered 29.80 in.
