/ • GUILTY OF MANSLAUGHTER. FOUR MONTHS' IMPRISONMENT. [by telegraph. —rnEss association.] GrSBORNE, Wednesday. In the Supreme Court to-day a verdict cf guilty with a strong recommendation to mercy was returned in respect of a charge of manslaughter against Adam Te Wlietu, arising out of a motor-car smash near Taneatua on December 31, |When accused's companion was killed. Mr. Justice MacGregor sentenced Tc iWhetu to four months' imprisonment.
