IMPERSONATION CHARGE.
ELECTORAL ACT CASE. - VERDICT OF NOT GUILTY. [BT TELEGRAPH.—PRESS ASSOCIATION. ] GrSBORNE. Wednesday. Air. Justice MacGregor to-day requested the jury to return a verdict of not guilty on a charge of impersonation under the Electoral Act preferred against Frederick Valentine, veterinary practitioner. The jury gave a verdict accordingly. The Judge held that the Crown had not proved its case.
