CANDIDATES IN FIELD. OPPOSITION FOR HINDENBURG. (Received February 23, 5.5 p.m.) BERLIN, Feb. 22. Negotiations with the object of nominating a joint candidate for the Presidency in opposition to Marshal von Hindenbuig have failed. Amid tremendous applause the Nazis gathered in the Sports Palace this evening and Herr Goebbels announced that ttieir leader, Herr Hitler, would be Dominated. • Subsequently the Nationalists and Steel Helmets organisation announced tbat they fcould nominate Colonel Duesterberg.
