HOWICK SCHOOL PICNIC.
The iinniu! picnic of flic TTowick Public School was held at Motuihi Island yesterday. The AVehe, which made the trip from the Howick Wharf, carried over 300 passengers. AH hough the weather conditions were not. of the best the arrangements made by tlie headmaster. Mr. Norman Day, and members of the staff, provided an excellent day's entertainment for the children.
