whose name was stippiessed, was com mitted to the Borstal institution for a term of not more than two years when rho appeared lie fore. Air. i. K. S.M., in the Police Court yesterday. Detective-Sergeant Kpllv said the 2 lr » had borrowed the watch and, on failing to return it, she had given it to a man Subsequentlv, she admitted to a constable that she had pawned it. Counsel said accused had been unemployed and pawned the watch in desperation. A married couple was prepared to take care of the girl. "She would not go into our homo and is uncontrollable," stated the female probation officer. Major A. Gordon, in recommending that, /he accused should he sent to the Borstal lias been staving out latf 4 at nights. _ . 1 Accused was committed to the Borstal institution.
