% FORMATION AT OPOTIKI. [from our own* correspondent.] OPOTIKI, Tuesday. A meeting of the oM pupils of the Opotiki District High School decided to form » football club, cricket club and an athletio club. It was decided to affiliate with the Ililgby Union and to enter a senior and a junior team in the competition. Officers were elected as follows Patron, Mr. H. Lanner: vice-presidents, Messrs. A. E. Payne, "W. Burrett, A. Chambers; club captain. Mr. N. Webb; honorary secretary, Mr. <T. L. Jessop; honorary treasurer, Mr. A. Shaw; members of committee. Messrs. C. Wolfonden and V. Mulhern: delegates to Rugby Union, Messrs. H. Larmer and P. R. Burton.
