SCENE AT WRESTLING.
REFEREE IN A MELEE. MEESKE-BROWNING BOUT. (Received February 21, 5.5 p.m.) SYDNEY. Feb. 21. The wrestlers Browning and Meeske created another diversion at the Leich•hardt Stadium last evening. In tha second round of their contest Meeske'a head and ona of Browning's legs were entangled in the ropes. The referee, Mr. McMasters, went to assist Meeske who/ resenting his intrusion, head-locked him. The audience rocked with delight as the referee freed himself. The fourth round was one of scratch, bite and kick, and at the end of the sixth each man had scored one fall, but the d» cision was awarded to Meeske.
