PHAR LAP'S TRAINING.
INTERRUPTION BY RAIN. (Received February 10, 11.55 p.m.) SAN FRANCISCO, Feb. 18. The wettest season for 17 years is being experienced in Southern California. Tremendous damage has been caused throughout the country. Owing to a bridge on the highway to Aguu Caliente having been washed away the races there have been stopped until Sunday. The rain at Agua Caliente is so heavy, and the track so bad, that. Phar Lap's training has been reduced to merely sufficient exercise to keep the horse in shape.
