BURNED CAR FOUND.

FALL OVER PRECIPICE. DISCOVERY IN KAIMAI RANGES. [by telegraph.—own correspondent.] TAURANGA. Friday. Mystery surrounds tho loss of a touring car on the Kaimai Ranges on Sunday. A motoring party travelling over the Kaimai Road stopped on the Matamata sido of the big rock near tho summit to obtain a view of the country. Their attention was arrested by some smoke in a ravine below them and investigation disclosed the smouldering rums of a car, which had gone over a precipice about 200 ft. deep. The matter was reported to the Matamata police. The number-plates of the car are missing. It is probable that the car, which was practically new, was stolen.
