CACTUS GREEN.
CHERRY BLOSSOM AND FUCHSIA. Cactus green, love-in-the-mist blue and chestnut bronze are some of the new colours of rich . British velvets that will be seen some time this month at the White City, where the Textile Exhibition of the British Industries Fair will be staged. These artistic Manchester velvets are in uncrushable artificial silk and almost indistinguishable from real silk. New designs, new colours and new combinations of tones have been evolved in the studios of a famous all-British fashion house in London. The successful vogue for velvet will undoubtedly be prolonged by these beautiful new fabrics. Tudor brown is an attractive shade. Champagne and caramel are the names of beige tones and cherry blossom and fuchsia are among the pinks.
