CUSHION COMFORT.
The chief business of cushions is to be comfortable. When making them, choose a soft material and avoid anyhard lumps or scratchy decoration on the cushion itself to hurt one's back. Pretty tassels at the corners or each end of a bolster shape are harmless. Cushions should next be decorative, but hero is a worth-while hint. Don't have them so pretty that you are afraid of anyone leaning up against them.
