Twenty-five years ago President Hindenburg of Germany—ho was just a general then —was taking part in some manoeuvres. And his batman spent, Is 3d at an inn on behalf of his master. He did not get the Is 3d from Hindenburg. In fact, lie forgot all about it until recently.
