PLUNKET CARD SOCIAL.

FUNCTION AT NORTHCOTE. The card evening organised by the Northcote Committee of the Plunket Society, held in the Palais Theatre, i Northcoto, on Thursday, was largely attended, and wag a most enjoyable and successful function. Bridge and five hundred were played, the arrangements being in charge of Mr. J. F. Potter. The effective decorative scheme of the hall and tables was carried out by Mrs. Gordon Fraser, and supper wag served by members of tho committee. Tl/o president, Mrs. A. Campbell, received the guestu. Dr. R. G. Dudding presented the prizes, the winners being:—Bridge: Mrs. J. G. Lockie, Mr. J. L. Hanna. Hidden number: Mr. J. Edwards. Consolation: Miss N. Atkin, Mr. P. Minns. Five hundred: Miss Z.
