BIRKDALE SHOW TO-DAY.
The Birkdnle Show, which will be opened this afternoon by Miss J. A. Mowbray, president of the Victoria League, will be on a, considerably larger scale than last year, over 400 entries having been received. The section for fruit from Ihe local orchards is especially large and good displays are also ensured in the various other classes. The show has been organised by the Women's Institute.
