CINDER TRACK RACING.
WESTERN SPRINGS EVENTS. A special meeting for local cinder track riders will be held at the Western Springs Speedway this evening. One of the most exciting races at the speedway was that in which Frank Day defeated the brilliant Englishman, Nobby Key, and considerable interest is being centred in Day's attempt this evening to win the Auckland championship title. A good performance is also expected from Bobby Unions. Whippet racing will also be conducted.
