SENTENCE ON ROBBER.
THEFT OF PAY-ROLL. TWO YEARS' IMPRISONMENT. [by telegraph.—press association.] INVERCARGILL. Friday. William Leonard Brewer, who pleaded guilty to the theft of a pay-roll of £827 at Ocean Beach, was sentenced by Mr. Justice Kennedy in the Supreme Court to-day to two years' imprisonment with hard labour.
