NO CHANGE IN MARKET.

REPORTS FROM ' MERCHANTS,

No change has occurred in the London butter market during the last 24 hours. Top quotations for New Zealand finest remain steady at 112s a cwt.

Merchants have received the following cablegrams from their London houses, dated February 17:— A. H. Turnbull and Company, Ltd. (W. Weddel and Company, Ltd.) Butter: Danish, 140s; New Zealand finest salted, 109s to 112s_: Australian, 105s to 108s; the market is steady. Cheese: White and coloured, 64s to 655; _the market is steady.

New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company, Ltd. —Butter: 112s; the market is quieter. Cheese: 64s to 655; the market is steady. »
