board makes inquiry. DISCIPLINARY ACTION DECIDED. [BY TELEGRAPH. —PRKSS ASSOCIATION. ] WELLINGTON, Sunday. Following upon allegations made by an officer of the Central Fire Brigade regarding the supply and use of petrol and spare parts, the Fire Board has for some time been inquiring into the records of such issues and at a meeting during the week decided to take some disciplinary action. It is unders'ood that the matter is also being inquired into by the Audit Department. It is stated that the allegations had reference to the use ol petrol or stores by others as well as those more immedia'cly connected with the brigade. No statement from the board is availaide at present, although possibly a statement may be made later.
