STRUCK QY SECOND RIDER.

A racing motor-cyclist, Gordon Wicks, aged 25, single, lies in Christchurch Hospital in a critical condition us a result of injuries received in :i fall at the broudsiding meeting at Monica Park last evening. 110 Is suffering from serious head injuries. lie fell when sliding rut of a bend, and N. Gray, following close behind, also fell. It appeared that Gray struck both Wickt* and his machine. Gray was shaken, but was otherwise unhurt. Wicks was carried off the track unconscious, and this afternoon had not fully recovered consciousness.
