BOROUGH REVALUATION.
MORRINSVILLE APPLICATION. BUSINESS MEN'S SUPPORT. [from our own correspondent.] MORRINSVILLE, Friday. The decision of the Morrinsville Borough Council to apply for a revaluation of the borough was supported at the meeting of the Morrinsville Chamber off Cornmeice on Thursday evening. Tho president, Mr. W. Ilctherington, presided. Mr. E. McGrepor moved that the chamber express its appreciation of the manner in which the council was endeavouring to cope with the difficult problem of revaluation of borough properties. Speakers agreed that the council had done the only thing possible. The president explained that the council favoured periodical revaluations. During recent years the ratable value of the borough had been reduced by £14,000, and he understood more, applications had been made. As a member of the Borough Council, he was pleased to see that it had the support of the chamber.
