GIRL GUIDE FAREWELLED.
A very happy little party arranged by tho committees of the Onehunga branch of the Hospital Auxiliary, the Onehunga Freo Kindergarten and the Nursing Brigade, was given on Wednesday afternoon to Miss Joan Neil, who left for England yesterday to attend the Girl Guides' Conference. Delightful musical items wero rendered by the Misses Kathleen O'Leary, Nan eye Hanna, Daphne Higham and Jessie Cunningham. A delicious afternoon tea was served, at the conclusion of which Miss Neil was presented with a handsome suede hand-bag as a small token of the esteem in which she is held by the ladies of the various organisations.
