HOWICK AFFAIRS.
WATER SUPPLY FOR PANMURE An application to secure a water supply for Panmure in conjunction -with the Ho wick supply was received from the Panmure Township E.oad Board at the last meeting of the Hovrick Town Board. The Water Supply Committee was asked to report on the matter at the nest meeting'. The fore mm reported that the widening of the road and the forma,!ion of footpaths on Convent Bill, which wa,s being carried out under So. 5 scheme, was nearing completion.
