HERALD'S SPECIAL FORECAST. FAIR TO CLOUDY. The following weather forecast for 24 hours from 7 a.m. to-day was supplied by Mr. H. M. Vincent last evening:— Another succession of depressions is crossing the southern Tasman Sea, while barometric pressure is relatively high in the north, although a tropical disturbance is apparently developing on the north-west Tasman Sea. Expect temporarily fair to fine weather generally, then clouding over, and rain following in most districts. Southerly winds, moderate to strong, veering to north-east, then freshening. Fairly rough seas southward from Cape East Cape; moderate seas on other coasts. Local outlook: Fair to cloudy, becoming overcast, and further rain following. Warmer temperatures.
