Six me.) were killed and many others are believed to have been drowned or burned to death as the result of an explosion early this morning at Marcus Hook, Pennsylvania, which wrecked the oil-tanker Bidwell. Eight of the victims are reported to be dying in hospital. There was a crew of 40 on board the vessel, also a number of workmen.
