SWORDFISH AND SHARKS. CAPTURES AT WHANGAROA. [TiY TELEGRAPH. —OWN CORRESPONDENT.] WHANGAROA, Thursday. In spite of rather stormy weather, deepsea sport at Whangavoa continues to be good. Mr. U. B. Watson, of Walton, from the launch Ethel, landed a swordfish of 2201b., and mako sharks of 1851b. and 3201b. The larger shark provided great sport. Mr. F. V. Eisenhut, of Kaikohe, from tlie launch Hazel, landed a fine mako of 2461b. Over 40 game fish have been recorded by the Whangaroa Club to date, and the outlook for February ia exceedingly bright.
