BRITISH AEROPLANES.
SECRETS SOLD TO FRANCE.
AGREEMENT WITH THE MAKERS.
LONDON, Jan. 25.
The secrets of the British Schneider Cup aeroplanes are being sold in France, according to the Sunday Graphic. The paper states that M. Delage, of motor fame, is manufacturing similar machines for the French Government. M. Delage has agreed not to sell the engines to other countries so that Britain's Continental market for Rolls Royca engines will be preserved. This market is valued at £1,000,000 a year. France, which has hitherto opposed the sale of high-speed British fighting aeroplanes in Europe, considering tliem ft menace to French security,- may now change her attitude.
