COMMERCIAL OF SYDNEY. INTERIM OF 3 PER CENT. (Received January 20, 11.5 p.m.) SYDNEY, Jan. 20. The Commercial Banking Company of Sydney lias announced an interim divi- - dend of 3 per cent. Tile interim dividend last year was 4|pcr cent, and tlio final dividend 4 per cent., making per cent., as against 10 per cent, in I lie previous year. A net profit of £1125 was earned by. the Birkenhead and Northeote Gas Company, Limited, for the year ended October 31, 1931. . The sum of £2375 was brought forward from the 'previous year, making £3500 available for distribution. A dividend of 4 per cent, has been paid on the ordinary shares and (lie usual 7 and 8 per cent, on preference shares respectively.
