NEW ZEALAND AND CANADA. NEGOTIATIONS FOR TREATY. (Received December 30, 5.5 p.m.) HONOLULU. Dec. 29. The Canadian and New Zealand trade delegations to-day continued the formal discussion begun on Monday v ' a preferential trade agreement between the two Dominions. The Hon. W. Downie Stewart, New Zealand Minister of Customs, and Mr IT. 11. Stevens, Canadian Minister of Trade and Commerce, visited the Governor, Mr. L. M. Judd, to-day. Mr. Stewart has booked his passage for New Zealand by the Niagara, to leave Honolulu on January 13.
