WEEK-END WEATHER.
CONDITIONS IN THE SOUTH. Auckland.—The weather was fine during the week-end, but the sky was cloudy and threatening yesterday afternoon and steady rain began to fall late in the evening. A moderate breeze was Mowing from the south-west on Saturday, but tlio wind was light and variable yesterday, being north-east in the morning and westerly in the evening. The barometer was falling after raid-day yesterday and registered 29.80 in. last night. Wellington.—The fifth successive fins week-end was experienced. Saturday was cloudless, with a ligh{, southerly wind. Yesterday was rather warm and the sky somewhat overcast. A very light shower fell late on Saturday night. Christchurch.—The weather on Saturday was sunny, with an easterly breeze, "iesterday was dull but pleasant, and the wind was still easterly. Dunedin.—The weather was dull and overcast on Saturday, with a light breeze from the south-west. The barometer registered 30.10 in. on Saturday night. Yesterday -was fine but overcast. The barometer was falling, the reading in tlio evening being 29.75 in..
