MA 11 ON E Y—] I OLE/ >WA Y. A wedding of considerable interest was celebrated in St. Stephen's Church, Opotild, on December 1, when Miss Beatrice Jessie Holloway, third daughter of Mrs. F. Ilolloway, of Kclston, Opotiki, was married to Mr. Roland TJarry Quenton Mahoney, youngest son of Mrs. 11. I. Mahoney, of Ngatea. The ceremony, which was fully choral, included the administration of the Jloly Eucharist, and was performed by the Rev. N. E. Benhani. Miss Sydenham was the organist. The bride, who was given away by her brother-in-law. Mr. 11. A. O'Sullivan, wore a graceful gown of ivory satin beaute. Her billowy veil was of ivory tulle, worn with a wreath of orange blossoms, and she carried a sheaf of cream roses and asparagus forn. In attendance were two bridesmaids —Miss Poppy Holloway (sister) and Miss Anno Bloor, of Tauranga, who were dressed alike in frocks of floral moussolinc. Their large white picture crinoline hats were tilted in front and trimmed with white satin ribbon, and they carried bouquets of nemesias in blending shades. The bridegroom was attended by Mr. K. A. Bunkall as best man, and Mr. E. J. Baigent was groomsman. Following the coremony a reception was held at Kclston, the homo of tlio bride's mother. Mrs. Holloway received the guests wearing a frock of figured crepe de chine with hat and coat to tono, and carried a bouquet of pale lemon carnations. Mrs. R. A. O'Sullivan, sister of the bride, wore an apple-green georgette frock and beige straw hat. Miss Mar jo Holloway, another sister, was in Lido blue figured georgetto with hat to match. Mrs. A. J. \V.
