BIRKENHEAD ACTIVITIES.' The reports of the various activities presented to the annual meeting of the congregation of the Birkenhead Presbyterian Church were of a very satisfactory nature, recording steady progress in all departments. Eulogistic references were mado to the work of the minister, the Hev. T. J. Wainwright. The financial position showed improvement, the receipts having exceeded those of the previous year. The following is the committee of management for the ensuing year:—Mesdames H V. Hay mail and F. Taylor. Miss McGilp, Messrs. H. V. Hayman (secretary), A. Campbell /(treasurer), F. Taylor, B. Hilliam, J. Tui't, 11. Male and 11. Drumjriond.
