DEATH FOR 1d A WEEK.
" This is a case of bravado mingled with mistaken kindness,' said the deputycoroner at Cardiff, when he returned a verdict of " death from misadventure" at the inquest on Roland Wixey, a 13-year-old boy. Wixey fell over a 200 ft. cliff in attempting to recover a friend's handkerchief. The friend, it was stated, had promised him a penny a week for six weeks if he was successful. The handkerchief had caught in a bush 20ft. from the top of the cliff.
