MOUNT ROSKILL'S WATER.
proposed change OF SUPPLY The Mount Roski.ll Road Board will decide at its next meeting whether tho district will discontinue obtaining its water from the City Council and enter into /an agreement with the Onehunga Borough Council. The board sought from tho Onehunga Council certain modifiCfitions regarding the tenure of the agreement and the capacity of the proposed reservoir on One Tree Hill, but was advised at last evening's meeting that the council would not alter its terms. General opinion favoured the acceptance of the greater part of tho terms and the matter was referred to the Legal and Finance Committee for a final report. The chairman, Mr. C. it. McCullough, said it seemed certain that the City Council would take up its mains in the district if the board decided to get its water from Onehunga.
