TENNIS DANCE.
The Mangere Central Lawn Tennis Club held a dance in the Central Hall on Saturday evening in connection with the opening of ihe courts for the season. Among those present were: Mrs. J. C. Rennie, who wore flame crepe fleurie; Mrs. J. Paul, black lace; Mrs. Browne, pink satin; Miss Maida Canhara, turquoise moire; Miss Adele Ellett, amber brocade; Miss Helen Court, amber satin; Miss Ruth Kirkbride, blue taffeta; Miss Peacocke, blue taffeta; Miss E. Shortt, pinktaffeta; Miss D. Court, green georgette; Miss Kitty Reynolds, pink net over satin; Miss Proud, black floral georgette; Miss J. Rickards, white georgette, touches of scarlet: Miss N. Beckwith. embossed georgette ; Miss B. Solomon, shell pink satin; Miss D. Knight, salmon pink taffeta; Miss Joyce Court, apricot satin ; Miss Margaret Bottorill, sky-blue taffeta: Miss M. Powdrill, sage green lace; Miss D. Brown, flame taffeta; Miss Wallace, lemon lace; Miss Grant, pink crepe de chine; Miss McFarlane, floral ninon; Miss Wilson, blue floral ninon;* Miss White, flattie georgette; Miss Moss, green satin beaute.
