WAIHI RIFLE CLUB.
[by telegraph.—own correspondent.] WAIHI, Monday. The annual meetins of the Waihi Club took place on Saturday evening, the president, Mr. J. Ci. Cornes, presiding. The report indicated a successful season with keen competition. There was a credit' balance at the end of the year. Officers were elected as follows:—Patron, Dr. Barrowclough; vice-patron, Mr. J. W. Mac Donald; president, Mr. J. G. Cornes; vice-president, Mr. D. Littlejohn; secretary. Mr. W. "Wotlierspoon; committee, Messrs. S. Saunders, E. S. Swindells, N. Easzard.-' C. Berryman, F. Brooks, and J» Gordon: auditor, Mr. W. Feather. The season will open on October 31.
