MEXICAN EXECUTIONS.
85 TOWNSPEOPLE HANGED. BODIES LINE MAIN HIGHWAY. MEXICO CITY. Sept. 24. The newspaper La Prenza has published a despatch stating that 85 men were hanged by order of the Governor of the State of Tabasco, Senhor Canabal, to avenge the lynching of the Mayor of the town of Aguadulce. Senhor Chable. It is stated that the Mayor provoked the ire of the townspeople in connection with the kidnapping of a girl, who died of the injuries she suffered when she fell from a horse while being abducted. The townspeople killed Senhor Chable whereupon the Governor had the perpetrators "strung up" at intervals alous the main highway.
