As a result of the discounting of the Canadian dollar in the United States, in some cases by 40 per cent., a Canadian team may not be sent to the Olympic Games at Los Angeles next year. PROFESSIONAL BOXING. LOUGHEAN TO MEET CARNERA. NEW YORK, Sept. 24. The proposed heavy-weight bosing match between Sharkey and Camera, arranged for October 1, has been postponed owing to an injury to Sharkey's hand. Tommy Loughran lias agreed to meet Camera on October 1. The winner will meet Sharkey on October 12. FOOTBALL IN BRITAIN. ASSOCIATION AND LEAGUE. LONDON, Sept. 24. At Association football in the English League, Southern Division, Brentford beat Reading, 3—o. Under Northern Union rules Hull beat Batley, 7—3. The management committee of the Rugby League has decided to send a team to Australia by the Jervis Bay on April 13.
