USED STAMPS.
Sir, —Will you kindly grant us space to thank those of your readers who have responded to our invitation to collect and forward used stamps for the furtherance of our work. The gross proceeds from this source during the last financial year were £55 (a record), and our very warmest thanks are accorded to all who helped us lo attain this result. \Ve again launch an appeal for ais many stamps as can be collected. Many millions are annually consigned to the waste-paper basket! Will those who have opportun.fy conserve these, and forward to us to aid in tho rescue and maintenance of neglected and destitute children ?
