HIGH SCHOOL BATHS.
WORK AT HAMILTON. [FROM Oil OWN CORRESPONDENT.] HAMILTON. Friday. Extensive excavations have been carried out by relief labour in the ground overlooking the concrete baths recently built in the Hamilton High School grounds. Terraces have beeu formed and a site prepared for dressing sheds, which, will bo erected as soon as sufficient money has been raised. The pupils have already found £l5O toward the cost of the work by means of entertainments.
The High School Board to day decided to instruct an architect to prepare plans of the sheds. It was decided to hold a carnival in mid-November to mark the opening of tho bjiths, and to ask th« Hon. J. A. Young, Minister of Health, to perform tho opening ceremony.
