LANCASHIRE COTTON TRADE
MR. GANDHI TO INVESTIGATE LONDON, Sept, 22. The joint committee of the cotton trades at Manchester announces the decision of Mr. Gandhi to pay an unofficial visit to Lancashire at the week-end. His main object is to study the problem in preparation for later official discussions. Mr. Gandhi is particularly interested in obtaining, first hand, the views of the operatives, among whom he will spend the greater part of his time.
