WAHINE STRIKES WHARF.
CAUGHT BY GUST OF WIND. WOODWORK AND PILE DAMAGED. [bt telegraph.—press association. 5 WELLINGTON. Wednesday. Caught by a gust of wind when being berthed this morning, the ferry steamer Wahine struck the ferry wharf, splintering the woodwork and shattering a pile. A rivet was sprung in the ship's stem, which shows signs of the impact.
