LEAGUE OF MOTHERS.
MAXUREWA BRANCH. The Manurewa branch of the League of Mothers met recently, Mrs. C. S. McCallum presiding. The afternoon was spent as a social one and various matters relative to the working of the branch were discussed by members. It was decided to keep some of the monthly meetings free for open discussion of various problems relating to family life, the next meeting being set apart for the study of the subject of suitable reading for children. After an interesting competition tea was served.
