LONDON WEDDING.
MATHESON—JOHNSON. Dr. Norman Murdoch Matheson,, M.B. (N.Z.), F.R.C.S., second son of Mr.and Mrs. D. Matheson, of Wanganui, wag married on July 25 to Miss Louise Alice Johnson, M.B. (Birm.), eldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. F. H. Johnson, of Erdington, Birmingham, writes onr London correspondent. The Rev.- H. J. Cubitt, B.D. (Lond.), officiated at the ceremony,which took place at Nechells Presbyterian Church, Birmingham. The brido was attended by her two sisters, the Misses B. H. and M. L. Johnson. Dr. A. J. Mason (Auckland) was best man, and other New Zealand medical men present included:— Dr. E. L. Button (Wellington), Dr. C. M. Marshall (Dunedin) and Dr. J. M. Beaumont. The bride and bridegroom spent their honeymoon at the English Lakes, and now they are in London, Dr. Matheson having a position on the staff of the Park Royal Hospital. When Dr. Matheson arrived in England in 1928 he took a short course at London Hospital and gained his fellowship diploma in the following June. He then went to Middlesex Hospital for further experience and has since been in Birmingham. After gaining her medical degree in Birmingham Mrs. Matheson came to London, where she has been professionally engaged for several years.
