Following are tho results of the latest Association football matches: —First division : Blackburn boat Blackpool, 5 goals to 1; Sheffield Wednesday drew with Chelsea, 2 all; West Ham lost to Sheffield United 1 to 2. Second division: Portvale lost to Swansea, 0 to 4. Northern division: Doncaster beat Rotherham, 2 to 0. In a Northern Union match, Oldham beat St. Helens by 13 points to 0. TENNIS AT LOS ANGELES. DOUBLES TO BRITISH PAIR. (Received September 22, 8.45 p.m.) NEW YORK, Sept, 21. In the doubles at the Pacific and South West tennis tournament at Los Angeles Perry and Hughes (Britain) defeated Meyers and Smith, 6—2, 6—4. In the mixed doubles, Hughes and Miss Crujckshank defeated Gress and Miss McCoy, 8-6, 6-3.
