FEARS FOR FISHERMEN.
BELIEVED TO BE DROWNED. PART OF BOAT WASHED UP. (Received September 17, 11.5 p.m.) MELBOURNE. Sept. 17. It is believed that the four missing fishermen have been drowned. A portion of their boat has been washed up on the beach at Mornington. There is no sign of the men. A message from Melbourne, published on Tuesday, slated:—Members of the Air Force in seaplanes searched all day yesterday for four fishermen who have been missing since, last Friday morning. There were heavy seas in the bay during tho Aveek-end.
